The One Ad That Made Me £110,000 in Pure Profit

What is a single winning Facebook ad actually worth?

Potentially, a great deal. One ad, written once and left running for a year, produced over £110,000 in profit for us. Not from a big creative team or a huge budget, but from one optimised ad quietly working every day. That is the real leverage of paid ads: a single winner keeps paying you long after the hour it took to write it.

The screenshot I said I would never share

I know, sharing those "look how much money I made" screenshots is a bit icky. I am doing it once, and only to make a genuine point.

These are the results from one single Facebook ad. Well, three ads: one piece of ad copy, three creatives. I wrote it once, and then ran it for over a year.

The maths

Over that year, we spent £71,743 on this one ad, and it brought in £114,836 in revenue.

That is already a 1.60 ROAS, and about £60,000 in profit, from a single ad. But this ad was for a monthly subscription, which changes everything. As well as the revenue on the day, it kept bringing in recurring monthly income.

Once you factor in how long the average subscriber sticks around, the lifetime ROAS was closer to 2.60, which works out at over £110,000 in profit. From one ad, written once, left running for a year.

The honest caveats

Let me be straight, because those screenshots always leave the boring bits out.

Not all of our ads were this successful. That is the whole process: you turn the losing ads off and pour budget into the winners. And not every winner lasts this long, some fatigue far more quickly. You do not know in advance which ad will be the £110,000 one. You find it by testing, killing the duds, and scaling what works.

The point that actually matters

Here is the question worth sitting with. When was the last time you did something that took a single day and brought an extra £110,000 into your business?

That is the leverage of paid ads when they are optimised and running profitably. Most effort in a business scales linearly: more hours, more output, more cost. A winning ad breaks that rule. You do the work once, and it keeps selling while you sleep, for months or years. You only need to find a few.
